Terms and conditions of purchase

These Terms and Conditions of Purchase apply between Uppsala Konsert & Kongress AB (henceforth referred to as the Organiser) and you (henceforth referred to as the Customer) as a purchaser of tickets and/or related goods through Tickster’s system.

General

Tickster provides a sales system for tickets where organisers can sell tickets and goods to their customers. Consequently, Tickster is only responsible for the technical transfer of tickets through the sales system. The Organiser is fully responsible for its own event, and Tickster is not responsible for any part of the event. Tickster is not responsible for the content or implementation of the event, nor is it liable for any losses that you or any other customer may incur from the event or that result from the Organiser’s responsibility.

Any questions related to this are referred to the Organiser of the relevant event.

Customer’s obligations when ordering

It is your duty as a customer to check that your shopping cart has the correct content before completing your order. You are also required to enter the correct details for us to guarantee delivery of your order.

In the best interest of fans and staff, the Event Organizer is monitoring local COVID-19 trends and will meet or exceed protocols mandated by local governments. By purchasing tickets to this event, you agree to abide by the health and safety measures in effect at the time of the event, which may include, but not be limited to, wearing masks, providing proof of vaccination status and/or providing proof of negative COVID-19 test. Check back often for updates to your local government website and event and venue websites as guidelines are subject to change.

Some organizers may need to take extra measures to increase security at the event. The measures can i.a. include bans on certain accessories and equipment, as well as searches. It is up to you as a customer to ensure which safety rules apply to the event you intend to buy tickets for. Regularly update yourself on the event, the arena or the organizer's website for the rules that apply at the time of the execution of the event.

Personal data

The personal data you disclose is processed with respect, and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, GDPR). Read more about our processing procedures in our Personal Data Policy.

Prices

The prices quoted include VAT. The currency is displayed in the web shop.

Subject to price increases, VAT adjustments, printing errors, pricing errors, clearance sales, inventory errors, etc. A ticket or item already shipped to you is not affected by any rise or fall in price that might occur after the order date, for example in the form of sales, promotions, discount codes or changes to the price.

Promotions

Organisers using Tickster’s system have the option of arranging promotions. The Organiser is fully responsible for the design and application of any promotion. When using discount codes, they usually only apply to one order and cannot be combined with other offers. You should be aware that promotions can be subject to time-limitations. Please check that any discounts resulting from a promotion, discount code, or the like are correct before completing your order. Tickster reserves the right to cancel orders in the event of any abuse or the unauthorised use of discount codes.

Gift cards

Organisers using Tickster’s system have the option of selling gift cards that are valid for the tickets and goods sold by the Organiser. Tickster does not offer general gift cards, which means a gift card is only valid from a specific Organiser using Tickster’s system. The validity period of the gift card is usually one (1) year from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated on the Organiser’s website or in separately announced conditions. A gift card cannot be redeemed for cash, nor can it be repurchased in whole or in part.

Invoice purchases and purchases paid via Credit Account

For such a purchase, the Organizer's receivable is transferred to Tickster AB, which in turn transfers the same to Swedbank Pay. Payment must be made to Swedbank Pay according to the information on the notice, invoice or according to information in Swedbank Pay's app or in another way announced by Swedbank Pay.

Security

Tickster actively works for ensuring the purchase tickets and goods via the Internet and other channels is safe and secure. Part of this work covers the analysis of the purchase data including information on payments for the purpose of eliminating fraud. Learn more about how we process your data in our Personal Data Policy.

If our analysis of your purchase does not result in an unambiguous response, we reserve the right to manually review your purchase before we complete it. A review of this kind may require us to contact you.

Adolescents

If you are under 18 years old, you must obtain the approval of a custodian in order to enter into an agreement through the Internet. This does not apply if you are 16 years old and have earned the money yourself.

Tickster and the Organiser reserve the right to contact custodians in the event that ticket purchasers are under 18 years of age. If you have not obtained the approval of a custodian, we cannot guarantee that your purchase will be accepted.

Right of withdrawal/Purchase on approval

The conditions vary here depending on what you have purchased.

  • Tickets. A lost ticket cannot be redeemed. The provisions in the Swedish Distance Contracts Act on cancellation rights do not apply under the same act when purchasing event tickets. Consequently, you are bound by your purchase once payment has been made. When purchasing tickets, you can shape your experience through your selections and by adding extras (e.g. choice of eatery, addition of drinks package, etc.) for certain events. Your selections and any additions you make form part of your ticket purchase and are subject to the rules covering the purchase of tickets.
  • Physical goods (not tickets). You are entitled to return physical goods in compliance with the Swedish Distance Contracts Act without giving any reason, provided that they do not form part of a purchase of tickets, and that they are returned in pristine condition. Notification of this must be given as soon as possible, but no later than fourteen (14) days after the receipt of the goods. If the goods (such as food packages, programme sheets, etc.) are delivered by the Organiser at the actual event, they can usually not be returned once they have been collected. Contact the Organiser for more information
  • Downloaded goods. For example, music or videos delivered by downloading to your computer cannot be redeemed.

Shipping and other charges are not refundable.

Cancelled event/Repurchase

You are responsible for checking that the event has not been cancelled or rescheduled. If an event has been cancelled, you shall contact the responsible Organiser, who is obliged to address any issues concerning the possible refund of tickets. In some cases, Tickster will refund tickets at the scheduled event on behalf of the Organiser. No postage or other fees paid in connection with the purchase of the ticket will be refunded following a cancelled event.

If you believe that your tickets should be repurchased, you must notify Tickster or the Organiser of your claim for a refund within two (2) months of the date of the event/day that the event would have been held. If this is not the case, you will not qualify for any refund.

Extraordinary circumstances

If the event has to be canceled due to extraordinary circumstances (fire, war, pandemics, terrorism, floods etc.), the Organizer reserves the right to retain half the purchase price.

Special conditions for tickets

Tickster reserves the right to cancel orders placed by you if you do not disclose accurate data about yourself or are otherwise in breach or attempt to circumvent the terms that apply to the order. This applies, among other things, if you reserve or purchase more tickets than allowed, or if you sell on purchased tickets in violation of the terms of the ticket purchase. These terms include ticket purchases for speculative purposes, i.e. the purchase of tickets in significant volume for the purpose of selling them for profit. Tickets purchased for obvious speculative purposes can be blocked by the Organiser or Tickster without prior warning, and these tickets will then be unusable and worthless.

Special conditions for downloaded goods

Downloaded Goods covers, for example, music, images or videos. Unless otherwise stated, these are copyrighted works.

All Downloaded Goods may only be used for private, non-commercial use unless specifically stated otherwise.

Mode of delivery

Tickster offers a wide range of delivery methods. The mode of delivery depends on what you ordered. Please note that delivery times may vary depending on the method you select, as shown in the summary for your purchase. Delivery times are stated as guideline values and not guaranteed times. Place your orders in good time to avoid any potential delivery delays.

Shipping costs

Tickster and Organiser reserve the right to add a shipping charge to the physical delivery. Any charges are shown in the summary you receive prior to payment. It is your duty as a customer to check any charges before completing your purchase.

Customer support

If you need help, have encountered problems or need to get in touch for any other matter, please contact our customer support at support@tickster.com, https://support.tickster.com/hc/ or by telephone on +46 (0) 771-47 70 70.

If the matter involves an order already placed, it is important that you have the reference number of the order to hand (printed on your receipt).

Downtime

Tickster is not responsible for, and does not compensate for any damages caused through downtime, delays, interruptions or any other technical circumstances that exclude or prohibit the use of Tickster’s system.

Force Majeure

We consider ourselves exempt from fulfilling our obligations stated in these conditions in the event of any amendment to legislation, government actions, labour market conflicts, fires, flood, war, terrorism, hacking, major accidents or similar events.
